Family Falconry Experience
On this 3hr experience you and your family will be able to get up close and personal with these amazing birds of prey and spend time gaining an insight into the ancient art of falconry. You will be amazed at the speed of the falcon, agility and tenacity of the hawk and sheer grace and beauty of the owl.

Falconry Experience for One
On arrival at the centre you will be greeted by your Falconer for the day. A short safety briefing will be given, for yours and the birds safety. You will then be introduced to the team before you learn to handle, feed and fly a number of different owls, hawks and falcons

Hawk Walk
When you book a Hawk Walk that walk is yours, no groups, enabling you to get up close and personal with your bird.
The experience starts when we meet at centre. We will go through some safety procedures, and show you how to handle the your hawk. You will then be given a glove and hawking waistcoat and we will start the walk.
As we go we will explain how we look after the birds, how we exercise and train them, a little of the history of Falconry. The walk will take between 60-90 mins so a reasonable level of fitness is needed. You should wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the time of year.
Do not forget your camera as there will be plenty of photo opportunities.

Photography Session
Photography days are run at our centre and incorporate flying as well as static/portrait opportunities. A Falconer will be available at all times to help you with the perfect shot as well as providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The day starts at 10am with a brief introduction and finishes at 2pm. During the morning you will be able photograph a selection of birds in static positions. After lunch ( please bring your own packed lunch) tea,coffee and soft drinks will be provided, we then move to the more challenging flying shots where our birds will stun you with their aerial abilities.
So whether you’re an experienced professional or just starting out we’ve got a session to suit you.

School Visits
Education and inspiration is our goal when meeting the potential future generations of falconers,it is our mission to inspire and educate them about the importance of birds of prey in the wild and captivity.These visits are interactive ,fun and educational because we believe children should have the opportunity to experience and to learn about birds of prey as part of our British wildlife.
Our sessions can be tailored to suit children of all ages. Talks include the opportunity to see birds of prey in flight and to handle the birds in a classroom setting. Flying may be undertaken indoors or outdoors, depending on venue and weather conditions.
